Taiwan Dec 2014

A days before the long awaited trip, i had chicken pox. I was so sad that i cried every night waiting for daddy, mummy and Hans to come home. PoPo took care of me but i still cried for my mummy. Mum, i miss you.

They stayed at Via Hotel in Ximending with 24 hrs food and drink bar for free. Ximending is a very crowded and popular area during night time with shopping and food everywhere.  It was not easy to get a 2 double bed room in Taipei which means mummy has to book many many month ahead (in our case 7 mths ahead).

Day 5-9 -Melbourne 4-12 June 2014

Day 5 - Our morning routine in Yering Gorge - kangaroos spoting. They are right outside our cottage each morning.

In our initial plan, we were suppose to go skiing but the night before mummy confirmed again there is no snow at Lake Mountain resulted in last minute changed of plan.

Yarra Valley diary for cheese tasting

At Yarra Valley Chocolateria & Ice Creamery

Driving back to melbourne CBD. Went for lunch in Shark Fins Inn. The restaurant is small and the dim sum has nothing to shout about. The parking nearby is expensive at AUD16 flat due to public holiday otherwise will be even more expensive. The parking is paid via credit card at exit.

Next, we drive to Crown Casino multi level parking to park our car.Join the membership at Crown Casino will get a 1 time free parking for each member.

 Crown Plaza area
We hop on to the tourist free tram to visit the parliament of Victory building and St Patrick Catheral, then back to Sky deck 88. After that we had dinner at Crown foodcourt and then back to Yering Gorge.

Next day, we went to Philip Island. Supposingly our stop is at San Remo Fishing Co-operative for fish and chip lunch and Pelican feeding but due to Queen's birthday again, they were closed! We went to a pie shop nearby. The restaurant serve all kinds of pies.Yummy!

We ordered cheese pie, steak pie, chicken and mushroom pie and some hot drinks.
During this trip ah kong, daddy and aunty can't miss coffee at every meal. They have actually spent quite a fortune for coffee for this trip.
After lunch, we went to a nearby beach to play stones throwing.

Churchill Island

Next we went for the penguin parade at 4.30pm.
Waiting for sunset to see the little penguins. No photo allowed! The penguins are small and cute. It was like a drama when the penguins queued and waiting for those in front to move. We bought penguin plus ticket to see them right in front of us. We witnessed 2 penguins fighting and the third penguin tried to calm down the fighting penguins.

Restaurant in Philip island close really early especially during Queen's birthday week, most of the restaurants closed except the one and only Chinese restaurant opened.

 Ramada Resort.

The next day we had breakfast at Madcowes.

Driving back to Melbourne city for the Harbour Town. Daddy just loves all the premium outlets and harbour town, where this will definitely be one of the attraction.
