Mummy having sandwiches with fries. Too bad there was no chilly sauce and mummy not used to having fries without chilly sauce. She was thinking of getting a bottle of chilly sauce lateron.
On day 2, daddy suffered from food poisoning of which he suspects is from the sandwiches he ate last night. Mummy and i went to the nearby pharmacy to get daddy some medication.
After lying on the bed for 2 hours, daddy decided to consult the doctor. Luckily, we have bought travel insurance therefore all medical expenses are recoverable.There is a slight difference between the clinic in Malaysia and Australia. In Australia, the clinic charges us the consultation fees only while for medication, you have to get it from the nearby pharmacy. So we went back to the same pharmacy.
In the evening when daddy was felling better, we decided to change our itinerary and went to Tropical Fruit World as our first attraction in Gold Coast. The admission to Tropical Fruit World is AUD66 for 2 adult and free for infant.

After a long silence from blogspot, i'm finally back. This round we will be heading to Gold Coast, Australia. Ah Mi (i couldn't pronouce mummy) has booked for the flight tickets 10 mths ahead and planned with aunty Jean for months before the actual departure date as both of them were going to the same location but aunty Jean went in February instead.

Our flight departed at 10.05 in the morning on 1 March 2009. On this day, ah mi woke up very early (at 5am) to pack my remaining stuff and cooked pasta for me as Airasia does not allow her to order kids meal online. They actually limit on-line meal booking to 1 meal for a ticket. Besides that, ah mi was afraid that the meal on board may not suit my taste bud.
Ah mi was well prepared with a portable dvd player together with my favourite vcds and a surprise toy for me on board as the journey took more than 8 hours. Can you guess what is the surprise toy? Try to figure out from the photo below. The flight was long and exhausted especially the so called reclining chairs do not seem to adjust much and the seat is smaller than the normal flight to phuket. This is my 2nd time on a flight, therefore i could only compared it against my previous trip to Phuket.Heheheh.

We arrived at Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta) at around 8 something (Gold Coast is 2 hours ahead of Malaysia at that time), thereafter we proceed to the immigration counter. In fear that some food product, like milk powder and cereal are not allowed, ah mi declared all the food item. Ah mi noticed for those who did not declare their belonging, their luggage was ransack by the immigration officer whereas for those who declared, their luggage was not touch but went through a scanning process only.
Ah Mi has make an advance car booking from eastcoastcarrental. Upon claiming our luggage, stroller and going through the immigration thingy, ah mi and daddy were searching for the right "bay" to our rented car.
By the time we checked into our hotel (Holiday Inn), it was around 10pm. Both Ah Mi and Daddy have yet to have their dinner, therefore we packed some sandwiches from Subway.

Recently, mummy and daddy have been very busy with our new house in OUG therefore have got no time to update this blog or even take picture of me.

2 days before 14 months, i started to walk independently with extended arms trying to balance myself whilst walking.
Blabbering a lot these days and talk back to protest when obstruct from touching certain items. When i want something, i will shriek and scream.
Understand some of mama's command. eg. "put your pecifier back into your mouth", "drink your water", "hug mama" and etc.
Learning to share especially sharing my pecifier (i'm willing to share my precious!). When dada said "gimme your pecifier", i'm so willing to share and stuff it into dada's mouth.
Drinking more water from a straw.
Loves opening cabinets and finding interesting stuff inside.
Took my chickenpox jab without a single cry. I looked so steady as it has not bother me at all. Mama was so puzzled!
Whenever i see dada and mama hugging, i will push dada away.
Kitchen but no hood or hob. Therefore mama cannot cook for me.
As there is nothing much to do at the Japanese Village besides sweating, we decided to go to the rabbit farm.
Wine tasting! No lah. It was dragon fruit enzeme but mama finished it and gave me the plastic cup only.
Isaac ko ko(same babysitter) has gotten the hand, foot and mouth disease from his kindergarden called Pink, in Puchong and transmitted to both me and didi koko. Aunty lan realised i have rashes on my tougue 5 days after Isaac ko ko was incubated from coming to aunty lan's house. Didi koko got it a day before me. Doctor said my throat was full with rashes and advised mama to give me cold milk or worst come to worst put ice-cream in the milk for me to drink.
I may look active and cheerful but when it comes to drinking milk and medicine, that's the trickiest part. As my mouth developed ulsers, i was so reluctant to drink milk from the bottle. Mama and aunty lan have to spoon feed me with cold milk and battled with me when feeding medicine. I have 1,2,3 or more medicine to drink after each milk session. I woke up every night and cried. Mama sorry, i know i'm giving you sleepless night. Now i've recovered but still a bit phobia towards milk.
